Hi...
I really don't know who would be reading this. But I needed a place to write my thoughts, that wasn't Facebook or Twitter. So I hope it works.
Recently I've been looking for something to keep me motivated with one of my greatest obstacles, my weight. I'm a 24 year old mother. Since the birth of my son on 2009, My weight has been something I haven't been able to control. No excuses, I know the problem is me. I have complained so much about my weight but I can NEVER just do what I need to do to lose it. I guess its just laziness ignoring that little voice that screaming at the top of its lungs telling me to get the hell up and do something, DONT EAT THE CAKE! But, of course, I eat the cake, with a huge cup of whole milk, then maybe another slice. Skip breakfast and have a piece of sweet bread. I can go on for hours about my terrible eating habits. From my examples you can tell that sweets are my issue. I have to learn how to say NO.
OK, so obviously I will be here to share how this journey to weight loss will be. So here we are in the beginning, at 202lbs(which was 185 about 2 months ago). Hopefully I can get down to 140lbs in the end. I will be starting off slowly. Before starting off too drastic,I will be making small goals for myself. Like these 3 goals.
1. Drink water! it's always that ONE glass of Soda that makes you say, "Oh well, another wont hurt" Absolutely nothing but water
2. At least 30 min of cardio a day.
3. No more sweets. But I need a substitution Any suggestions? a piece of fruit? chew on my finger?....ouch. that wont work. something that will take away the craving. when I figure it out I will let you know.
I believe that just these 3 things will really make a difference. At least for me.
-Just to make it clear, my son has great eating habits. I will never allow him to eat like me. Of course I let him try things but never let him go too far and help him understand that he should be happy and satisfied with what he did get. He has no idea what fast food is. I just wanted to put that out there. It would be a great thing if I had as much discipline with myself as I did with him. Sooner or later he will say "why do you get to eat like that Mom?" I need to set a great example for him, also so I can be healthy enough to keep up with him.
SO, HERE WE GO! stay tuned...
